Dedicated to the memory of Lilian NORA McKenna

Lilian Nora McKenna

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lilian Nora McKenna, on the
2nd of February 2024 at the age of 85.
Nora was a much-loved mother to Pam, a ‘partner in crime’ with her loving son in law,  Dave, a beloved sister to Val, Barbara & Edith and aunt to her nieces & nephews.

Nora’s warm presence, humour and love touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving an indelible mark on her family and friends. A true lady who was full of life and mischief. Nora dearly loved her family & her dogs, her love and memory will endure in our hearts forever.

Nora enjoyed the visits and care given to her in recent weeks from her niece Anne, Heather & Sharon, friends of Pam & Dave, who will be forever grateful for their support.

A service will be held at:
Springwood crematorium Myrtle chapel on
Monday 26th February 15:45
Anyone who wishes to attend can do so.

Nora’s wish is for everyone to wear bright, happy clothing, not all black please.
Nora loved her garden & flowers, both inside & outside of her home.  Pam & Dave will let you decide if you would prefer to send flowers or make a kind donation in Nora’s memory to Alzheimer’s Society.  A charity that had enabled Nora to receive support & could help any of us, or those close to us, going forward.

A Celebration of Nora’s life will take place
immediately after the funeral at:

Childwall Abbey Hotel
Childwall Abbey Road, L16 5EY

(Car park is opposite the venue)

Pam & Dave would appreciate letting us know if you are able to attend this venue for catering purposes. All are welcome.

Pam & Dave would really love to read any memories you have of Nora, whether they be funny or whatever. When you least expected it she would let her cheeky, mischievous side pop out. Surprise!
